BIRS Workshop on Computational Modeling in Games
The Workshop on Computational Modeling in Games took place from may 15th to may 20th at the Banff International Research Station (BIRS) in Canada. This highly inspirational and motivating workshop intended to discuss future research was organized by Michael Mateas (UC Santa Cruz) and Andy Nealen (NYU). Live Game Design team members Riemer van Rozen and Joris Dormans participated in the workshop discussions. You can just make them out in the group photo below. The workshop yielded new ideas, insights and opportunities for research collaborations.
